I watched a movie the other night “de pere en flic”,a French Canadian movie which has won some awards. The title translates to ‘Father With Guns’. The movie was in French with English subtitles. Normally I don’t like foreign language movies, but you do get used to the subtitles after a few minutes just like widescreen TV with the black strips on the top and bottom of the screen. Anyhoo, this movie was hilarious. Two cops, father and son, who detest each other, infiltrate a father/son therapy camp retreat, undercover, to nab a lawyer.
Another cool movie, again French Canadian is Bon Cop, Bad Cop. Two cops, one from Quebec and one from Ontario are paired together, under protest, on a case. This one is mostly in English with some French subtitles.
Both are excellent and I would watch them again!
