Spoiled Brats

I can't believe some of the sports headlines in the news these days. I have an RSS feed which gives headlines on NFL, Tennis, Golf, NASCAR. I usually let it go for a couple or three days and then skim the headlines. Any stories I want to read further, I would open and read, but I digress. Back to the topic at hand...NFL...several arrests for dui, domestic violence, drug related charges (and that doesn't include the murder charge), driving offences, weapons offences. Golf...suspensions for testing positive for drugs, and don't even get me started on Tiger...NASCAR...penalties, suspensions and fines for cheating. Tennis is quiet these days except for the guy they let back in the game after his drug suspension was over. What the hell is wrong with these people. The bucks they are paid to play games makes them millionaires, if they don't squander it doing something stupid, which many do. They don't appreciate how good they have it or the opportunities they have to better their lives and the lives of their families and have fun doing it. AND almost every week there is some sports or celeb idiot apologizing for something he shouldn't have said in the first place. One sure fire cure for the malady would be to fire their butts off the team or sport for good, no second chances. That's never going to happen though with all the really great reps and lawyers (I said that with tongue in cheek). Oh well, I guess I'll just go read me some headlines and hope for the best.
