I have one of those (very few) husbands who can make anything. I say “can you make this or can you fix that and he does it”, No training but a damn good eye. He does carpentry, plumbing, electrical & fancy stuff too like decorating. Today he put rails on a trailer…these were made from an old trampoline. It is beautiful. I opened a new antiperspirant and there was no roller ball. He used the ball from the empty one. I needed slider trays for my cupboards but guess what. Could not find any to fit so he made his own. He changes taps and faucets, built a new kitchen & a walk out basement, puts up light fixtures, tears down dressers & makes two out of them. I’m useless when it comes to anything. I can use a screwdriver and glue but keep me away from hammers and drills. I am really lucky and don’t show my appreciation enough!! Here is a 1st prize ribbon for you Larry!
