The news the past couple of days has been full of the trial of deranged killer Russell Williams, former Commander of Trenton Air Base. He has confessed and is pleading guilty but there still needs to be a trial for the murders of his two victims; Jessica Lloyd and Cpl Marie-France Comeau. Their families have attended and made statements as to how their lives have changed. This is where I have a problem. Why give the guy the satisfaction of seeing how this has affected you, your family, friends. I feel this is what he wants. What good is it going to do you to sit in the courtroom and hear all the horrid details of the crimes. I don’t think I could ever get that out of my mind, I would have nightmares for the rest of my life. Rest assured, Russell Williams will suffer and pay for his crimes. Rest in peace Jessica and Marie-France.
