Part way through the Sprint Cup Race on Sunday, Jeff Burton bumped Jeff Gordon and caused a wreck that took them both out. Jeff Gordon exited his smacked up vehicle and headed for Jeff Burton. He would have throttled him if he could have gotten a hold on him, but cooler heads & bigger officials prevented any blood-letting. The NASCAR official that was with Jeff Gordon was about 6’6” and 300 pounds. Of course, Jeff Burton was wearing his usual innocent “I didn’t mean to do it” look and apologized left, right and center. I was hoping Jeff Gordon would open a can of “whoop-ass” and kick his butt! But then Jeff Burton’s wife Kim “the pit-bull” would have kicked Jeff Gordon’s butt!
