I found a new author...Stuart MacBride. I'm always looking for new stuff to read and I love British/Scottish crime novels...DS Logan McRae is the main cop with a few sidekicks in this series. There is quite a bit of humour and quite a bit of Scottish slang involved, but you soon get used to it. Mr. MacBride has also posted an online translation manual for the words you just can't figure out. I have finished the first novel 'Cold Granite' and have just started the second 'Broken Skin'. I think I have missed one in between so I'll check for it, next trip to the library.
