Movie Night

A couple of movies I have viewed recently...first, R.I.P.D. with Jeff Bridges, Ryan Reynolds, Kevin Bacon & Mary Louise Parker..."A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him...After Nick is murdered by his own partner, he joins the Rest in Peace Department to protect the world from the undeads. While working with his new partner, many undeads are seen gathering in Boston. Soon he realizes that someone close to him is behind all a plot to bring on the apocalypse." I thought this one might be a bit lame, but it was actually very funny.

The other is Escape Plan with the team of Stallone/Schwarzenegger, Jim Caviezel, & Vincent D'Onofrio. "When a structural-security authority finds himself set up and incarcerated in the world's most secret and secure prison, he has to use his skills to escape with help from the inside." This one was your typical Sly/Arnie violent flick, but it was still pretty good. Enough to keep me tuned in anyways. Jim Caviezel plays the mean, devious warden and I've never seen him play a bad guy before. I gotta say, he's got the game. Those eyes are cruel!
