Instant Pot

So I ordered an Instant Pot. I already have a slow cooker but not a pressure cooker or a rice cooker. I do have a yogurt maker though. My slow cooker does not have a tight fitting lid and one of the handles broke off when I was picking it up to move it. I'm glad it was on the counter at the time! The handles are made of bakelite and hubs replaced both with metal handles he had in his stash. I have used the yogurt maker twice, it does make really good yogurt but takes quite a bit of milk to produce a small amount. I have good luck with my rice cooked in a pot, but have heard wondrous reviews about rice cookers so... Dad used a stovetop pressure cooker and they do make me a bit nervous, but they are supposed to be quite safe. I have many, many pressure cooker, slow cooker and instant pot cookbooks that I have downloaded (all free of course) so I'm looking forward to my new cooking companion!
