So the Patriots have chosen Cam Newton, former Panthers quarterback, we'll see how that goes. I'm sticking with Brady, so Tampa Bay is my new team. Go Bucs!
Golf is back, sort of. No spectators, some players are still not playing, and a few have had positive Covid-19 tests. I'm not going to complain, I really missed golf.
I went on my rare outing to the dollar store the other day. Had my mask on and my hand sanitizer close by. Got into the store and the greeter handed me a freshly wiped cart. About three aisles in, I felt the urge to sneeze, with my mask on. I went into panic mode. What happens if you sneeze with a mask on? Do the lenses in your glasses pop out? Do your ears pop? Do you blow the mask off your face? I managed to hold it in, so I didn't find out. I'm glad, I didn't want anyone hitting me over the head with a Lysol bottle.
I'm reading a book titled "Death And Deliverance: The Haunting True Story of the Hercules Crash at the North Pole, about the RCAF Hercules that crashed in 1991 flying to Alert. Very chilling and sad to read. Close to home for me, my Dad was RCAF and I lived in Trenton for a great part of my childhood.
